Fusidic Acid Cream comes under the brand name “ FUSOGEN” and is a type of medicine known as an antibiotic, which is used to treat skin infections like impetigo (a type of skin rash with oozing and crusting), cellulitis (infection causing redness, swelling, and pain), infected cuts, burns, wounds, grazes, and other skin problems like ulcers, boils, abscesses, spots, carbuncles (a group of boils), infected eczema, and infected contact dermatitis (inflammation of the skin).

Fusidic acid cream works by stopping bacteria from making essential proteins they need to grow and multiply. This prevents the bacteria from spreading and growing, eventually leading to their death. As a result, the infection gets cleared either because the bacteria die or the immune system of the body eliminates them.

Directions For Use

• Wash your hands before and after applying it.
• Take a small amount of cream and gently rub it on the affected area of the skin as advised by the doctor.
• It is only for external use.
• If you are using it on your face, avoid contact with your eyes as it may cause irritation.
• You are advised to apply any other lotions, creams or ointments including cosmetics and moisturizers after 30 minutes of applying it.
